Dr Mary’s Swanson’s extremely boring life explodes violently into chaos with the unveiling of her virtual reality flight trainer. Intended to save lives, it leaves a trail of dead bodies and hers is nearly one of them.
Mary’s simulator draws fire from many directions. Starting with the murder of her client a few inches from her shivering knees in a dismal Paris rain, it concludes with shots fired at the Vice Premier of the People’s Republic of China in Washington DC. In between, Dr. Swanson fights very hard to stay alive for someone, who just days before, contemplated the serenity of suicide.
